My new favorite eye cream, wrinkles BE GONE!

So the other day someone said to me, “I’m only 22, I don’t NEED anti-aging skincare…”  Hmm, last I checked honey, we start aging from the day we’re born!  *Awwww SNAP!*  So, with the holiday season rapidly approaching, I have GOT to give thanks to Shisedo for coming out with another amazing product…  Benefiance Concentrated Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream is quite possible the best eye cream I’ve ever tried (Sorry Dr. Brandt R3P!).  It’s an ultra-rich, age-defense eye cream that protects skin from dehydration and dramatically minimizes the appearance of wrinkles and lines.  Because it is a very rich creme, it’s reccommended for dry to very dry skin.  I don’t know about you, but with this cooler weather my skin is DRY!  This absorbs right in and makes that thin under-eye skin look nourished and fresh.  Thank to Shisedo!  Get yours here: http://www.sca.shiseido.com/index.cfm?select=catalog/index.cfm?product=363

My first music video!!!

Check out this music video I did hair and makeup for…  The artist is Nastassiya and the song is called The Real Thing off her debut album Red Balloon-OUT SOON!  It was a super fun shoot and she is the sweetest thing ever (not to mention she speaks 5 languages!), I’d love to work with her again :) Click on the link to view: Nastassiya-The Real Thing

Giorgio Armani, I think I love you.

After a photoshoot last weekend, I got my first chance to play with some of the Giorgio Armani cosmetic line.  Let me tell you, AMAAAZING!!!  I’ve found my new favorite red, Shine Lipstick in shade #08.  It’s a beautiful blue based red that is super hydrating and leaves the lips drenched in color.  Check it out at: http://www.giorgioarmanibeauty-usa.com  I haven’t had a chance to experiment with the rest of the line, but if it’s anything like the lipsticks and clothing, it’s going to be around for a while!  08red

Fading hair color? Brassy blonde? ARTec has you covered

So since going dark for winter, (darker than ever this time… BLACK!) I’ve been noticing that it’s starting to fade only at my roots.  Thank the hair gods I remembered a few things from beauty school and pulled an old trick out of the bag…  ARTec color depositing and toning shampoos and conditioners.  I prefer the shampoos because they seem to deposit more pigment than the conditioners do, and the conditioners can be drying.  If you’ve got pale blonde hair and are looking brassy, try the White Violet.  If you’ve got a bright red that just wont quit, go for the Cherry Bark.  There’s a solution for every hair color.  Get it from Amazon online here: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_sq_top?ie=UTF8&keywords=artec%20shampoo&index=blended&pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B001Q9QMII&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0FKSXDW52R0JDE4G0ERR   And it’s all for under $15, your locks will thank you!

NARSsheerglow

For those of you in L-O-V-E with all things NARS, they’ve just whipped up some amazing new foundations.  The Sheer Matte and Sheer Glow are beauty-ful and come in 12 shades.  So that means all skin tones are covered, from porcelain pale to rich ebony.  I’ve been using the Sheer Glow lately (thank you winter skin) and it leaves the skin slightly dewy and hydrated, but with a buildable coverage.  That means YOU decide what coverage you want.  Check it out, or put it on your holiday wish list!

Scratch your back with Minx Nails

Beyonce5

When I saw my friends nails the other day I had to know what nail polish she had on because it looked just like gold metal…  Enter Minx Nails, no polish nail coverings.  Not the harmful acrylic or gel types, just a covering that goes on top of your nails (natural or not) and wears longer than average nail polish.  You can order them online and do them yourself howeverI recommend going to a certified spa to get them done the first time-plus if you’re anything like me when I paint my nails, you wouldn’t want to mess them up…  It should run around $50-60 for a manicure, but it lasts 10-14 days and can be taken off with normal polish remover.  Get Minxed!!!  http://www.minxnails.com
